About me

Alica Minar (b. 1993) is a choreographer and performer based in Berlin and Prague. She creates an intense bodily experience for the audience based on a theoretical and movement research. In the past years, she started developing a method called ‘Dialogue between body and objects’, which focuses on dance and clown principles of how to handle materials on a large scale. Her works offer strong visuality, where abstraction and narration go hand in hand. In her creations, she intuitively searches for humor and poetry that arise through bizarre situations.
